Since 1890, the mission of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR) has been to promote historic preservation, education, and patriotism. For over a century, the ASDAR has been promoting historic preservation in Arizona by placing markers at historic sites or to commemorate people and events important to our state’s history.
